I'm leasing a 17 Maxima and the peace of mind of not having to worry about something needing to be replaced is :wow:

The only downside I see to leasing in having to pay full coverage for insurance (and leasing the rate is higher) But to me it's worth it. Is it for everybody? No. Would I recommend it to everybody I know? No. Cars are disposable assets that depreciate, so I would rather have a monthly car payment and drive less than 3 years old all the time.

HOWEVER, I do have a 02 accord laying in the cut, in the event times get hard :manny:

Bro if u wanna ride new every 3-4 years leading is the smart way to go. How much are your payments? I probably wouldn’t lease a Max, they’re so cheap used

I’m seeing 2016-17 top trim level in the tri state area go for anywhere from $23-27,000. Pretty sure it’s the same in most of the country. No down payment and that’s somewhere around $350-400 monthly payments to buy a pre owned. You can get an SL or an SR for probably $20-30 less per month.

$368 a month. This is my first lease so I didn't want to jump into something expensive. But I know when it's up, I will be able to get pretty much any car I want with little to no interest.

Throughout my 20's and 30's I always paid cash. Never financed. SO I was always pushing cars that were at between 6 and 10 years old and out of warranty.

The repairs because too much of a hassle. Now I'm at an age where I'd rather drive new shyt. I don't car about custom rims and most cars have infotainment systems and decent sound systems, so there's no need to customize. The only thing I do when I get a new car is add tint. I've had this Maxima for a little over a year and I already want something else.

My next lease will only be for 2 years. It will probably either an a 2020 Audi or Infiniti.

You sound like me bro, but I always financed and kept cars for a couple years after but now I’m like you, I’m not feeling the mechanic life anymore, I just wanna drive something nice and new and not worry about shyt.

Might lease something in a. Year or two. If I do it’s probably gonna be the new Wrangler, that’s the GOAT car to lease. A lot of ppl say when it’s time to turn it in they are actually owed money from the dealer. Wranglers are reliable as hell so I’ll probably lease to start out just to get the cheaper payment, then buy at the end.

Enjoy the Max breh :salute:

I lease now, but it's nothing fancy. I use my lease for work. I'm halfway into my last year of the contract (3/36k).

The only reason I leased in the first place is because I bought a lemon, it had transmission issues. I traded it in and used it for a down payment for a lease.

This isn't my main vehicle, I use when I'm at work, so I wasnt looking for anything fancy

I'm not sure if I'll do it again.

Since you got a Nissan, you're probably preapproved from Nissan Motor Credit for the Infiniti so you should be able to transition smoothly.

2020 Q50 Red Sport :wow:

If they still make that model by then .

But yeah, the Nissan sales rep told me if I made all of my payments on time, when I reup I could pretty much get any car I want at Nissan or Infiniti.

I work in body repair and I be seeing people who lease come in with all types of deductibles. How much was your deductible they required for your lease/full coverage.

I got a platinum package for an extra 8 dollars a month so any small nicks, or light scratches, they will fix. No deductible.

As far as car insurance I got a $700 deductible :snoop:

5 days after I drove it off the lot, somebody broke in and tried to steal it or steal stuff out of it (it was a push start, and I didn't even have it long enough to leave anything in it).

Or course u can if the buyer is paying more than what's due on the residual value.

Breh you really should understand the types of contracts u go into. :snoop:

The buyer would have to pay me first, or I would have to buy it all cash first. In my case it would be over $18k. Doesn’t seem practical.

And if I would pay $18k to make a small flip, I’d be better off getting a dealer license and use it to flip as many cars as I want.
