My SS been in the shop since May (gm lifter shortage) and I miss her badly. Getting headers/heads/cam

Chevy SS?

I love those, breh. I love cars that you don’t see often. I like other muscle cars, but you kind of see Mustangs, Chargers, Challengers, and Cameros everywhere all of the time.

Plus, like they say “Real Muscle Cars don’t come with a V6 option.”

I'll be upgrading to a Hyundai Veloster N in a year or two.
Why would you do that?

if youre going the mini hatchback route at least get a Lexus CT. Roughly the same price if a couple years used, better looking and it aint a hyundai.

You can do that but when insurance find out that’s a hell of a bill to foot :francis:
idk i ran PA plates for 2 years no issues even had an accident that a claims officers had to interview me for. had to lie and say i was visiting a sick relative in the city when it happened. he didnt gaf tbh just came, took my story and bounced. that was the last i heard other than them telling me the settled the case.

half the people i know are at minimum using an address upstate NY if they kept NY tags. a lot have PA, NJ, FL. my boy just got a car and hes switching to texas. Another benefit is he can tint his car out so long as its within texas legal limits its legal in NY

What’s the difference between a “Scat Pack” and an “SRT-8”? Aren’t the SRT’s faster and more expensive?

I own a 2004 GTO. LS1 engine. It’s quick, but it’s bone stock. Only 45k miles.
:francis:
SRT 8s are the old 6.1 V8,,, Scats are 6.4 and Hellcats are 6.2 V8’ supercharged... Scats and Hellcats running neck and neck with a slight edge to the Hellcat in the 1/2 mile

Yup just milling the heads because they already flow well oem. I might change heads if i do an lsa on it.
man if you do forced induction you might as well go with a turbo breh ,its more efficient and it doesn't take up alot of space in the engine bay
