Actually I never thought about it until a few weeks ago there was this thread on here that had the title, two sentences http://www.thecoli.com/threads/20-terrifying-two-sentence-horror-stories.196878/#post-7644558
Anyway this particular one freaked me out:

11. I was having a pleasant dream when what sounded like hammering woke me. After that, I could barely hear the muffled sound of dirt covering the coffin over my own screams.

Since I read that thread I have been having nightmares about being buried alive and what will happen when I die. I get knots in my stomach and I cant watch First 48 anymore (one of my favorite shows) :sadcam:

Fear of death, at an emotional/biological programming level, is perfectly natural.

Anyway, sounds like you might have a touch of OCD or something. You should try meditating before bed. Actually meditation is an incredibly useful habbit, everyone should do it throughout their whole lives.

:ohhh: You might be right. I'm seriously letting it effect me. Again, never thought about it until I read that thread. I now I have dreams that I'm in that pine box all alone and im scared. Like my body has died but I'm fully aware of everything that is going on with me. I use to think about how it would be when my grandmother died but never myself. I never drive without my seat belt but had a dream I died in car crash because my car blew up and I couldnt get out cause I was trapped in my seat belt. I wanna dream about doves flying and seeing my loved ones when I die but instead im dream about how I'm stuck in that pine box in the dark while life goes by.

Not really scared of death. Some people stress over it more than others.

Sometimes life itself can be scarier than death. Big Pun had a dope line where he said "You're scared of death? I'll make you twice as afraid of life." My life is not like that but sometimes life can be scarier than death.

Well for one, most cars don't blow up when they're on fire. An incident last week proved it aint like the movies. :ufdup:

Two, why would your conscious decide/be forced to stay inside the coffin? Trust me, if you are self-aware after death, you wont be stuck and "buried alive" for eternity. Energy is fluid.
