I'm not sure it'll get better or worse. I imagine it won't change drastically either way. They'll probably get a slightly more old school feel and scale back from the over the top "sports entertainment", but not a lot.

WWE is a machine that can coast for a very long time doing what they are doing now. Coke Boy laid out the blue print over the last 30 years. All Steph & HHH have to do is keep doing what they've been doing.

This. It's a proven money-making formula, Steph and HHH are very familiar with it, they've been part of the machine for a long time, and they know it works. It will be largely the same going forward, with the odd subtle change and maybe little old-school experiments that HHH might want to try.

Maybe the comedy bits will be slightly less corny because I always had the feeling that Vince's weird/sick sense of humor dominates WWE "comedy", but I guess it wouldn't be shocking if Steph finds that same kind of shyt funny.

Not for real. A lot of people like to Monday Morning QB this. Stunning Steve Austin was memorable, but at the time nobody was looking at him like "if he just got a shot". He was right about where he should have been in WCW, a midcard tag-team level guy.

You are completely wrong and in opening the Hollywood blondes disprove he was just a tag guy off top. As by the time period of discussion about steve and his character were at that exact time, was the exact protege to flair as he is flair's protege and one of those let's loosen flair's grips on the reigns of reality in the promotion based admin group fire sale signal firings in all actuality.

especially, when you take into account what occurred as far as wcw right after that in that wrinkle of time direction wise for the company at that exact time.

this is like smart of the times 101 too.
as the blondes given the time period of the boom and the principal behind the boom is like as key a lesson as you learn when delving into the history of this business given our age and demographic related to the boom and the dawn of the iwc to give a behind curtain look to allow us to become smarts in the first place. Well those of us who are actually smarts for real.
no offense to the real smarts and unknowing casual mark.
yet, this is a key background element. that should be known off top given your Gen and being what would be termed smart.
as real talk, we should kinda not be discussing simple gateway elements like this,...if people say they are well versed in being smart.
to even be smart for this Gen you should easily know the beginning of Austin's original admin issues with a promotion and hoe he used those lessons to assail to become the Highest all time draw. Which being a draw is what this bitness is inherently about at its core. Of which scsa is the largest and these components should be known off gp without fail.

I was watching WCW too at the time. He was a memorable guy, but people are lying if they saw "Stone Cold" level talent there already. I mean dude even had to refine his mic work in ECW before he got to WWF.

Yeah, Steve seemed like a future main eventer, but that's about it. When you get to thinkin' about a company cash cow that could start another boom period, there was nothing about early-90s Steve Austin that suggested all that was gonna happen.

Would Triple H and Steph though, can't say I'm confident of that either, am sure there's people they weren't high on that were stars too. Don't think Triple H was high on The Rock for example. And also would they be as willing to change their mind as Vince? Not sure....

I remember Austin being with Dibiase as manager and don't think anyone really thought of his as anything special but they didn't even let him talk or do promos and he had the million dollar dream as a finisher

This business your lucky if you even get an opportunity to be yourself and shine

There are plenty that with the right gimmick and a push could have been stars but very few get the opportunity to play the lead in WWF/WWE

It's not hard to build credibility by giving someone a win streak and booking them strong to look important but can the wrestler make the fans care about them.

Vince has a bad habit of giving importance to wrestlers the fans don't care about or haven't earned the fans interest yet

Now would Austin be the mega star he was if he didn't struggle in mid card hell all those years...if he was pushed too early would he have been Roman Reigned, assuming he never developed stone cold character and got title shots with that shytty million dollar champ gimmick

If we're judging HHH's opinions on talent based on his work in NXT we can at least say he's more open minded than Vince when it comes to things like size, body, etc. Seems to have the mentality of, if you can get over you're $, period.

If he's the one making the decisions, there's probably gonna be a lot less tossing the belts around and forcing people into the main event. He always says the guy is supposed to make the title, not the other way around... so we're not gonna have this Jinder Mahal type shyt goin' on.

But overall, I dont know that it'll necessarily be 'better', it'll be different. Vince may make some bad decisions or greenlight some wack shyt here and there, but his job entails way more than booking decisions and he barely even sleeps. It's probably gonna take H, Steph, and Shane to do the amount of shyt he does.
