only read the headline :ehh:

my point with Rose is that he played a p*ssy foot game. Had his little marketing campaign about the "Return" also. RG3 went "all in for week 1."

I actually agree with Rose's stance, and dont have a problem with RG3's. Criticisms of both are stupid.

I agree that Rose stayed on the fence about it after a while, but he really only got put in that position because his team took it upon themselves to put it out there that he was practicing.

The whole "return" campaign was just about him rehabbing, it wasn't promising that he was going to play that season.

With RGIII you had him saying he'd be completely ready by week one and tweeting out messages about him being healthy and more than ready....only now it's clear he WASN'T ready to come back as soon as he wanted to.

What I'm saying is, Rose never said he was coming back and then came back when he clearly wasn't ready. He just said he'll come back when HE is confident that he can play at the level he aspires to play at. With RGIII he was popping shyt about how ready he was and now he's been looking bad for long stretches.

Rose was being cautious, RGIII was being reckless.

I'm trying to find this Penny Hardaway interview from this past season discussion Derrick Rose knee injury.

Anyway, in the interview Penny said he spoke with Derrick Rose about his knee injury. He told Derrick Rose to sit out for the season. And not try to rush back to play. Penny said that was the mistake he made with his knee injury and wished he would've set out more longer.

I dont think RG3 was being reckless since he is medically fit.

Just like I dont think Rose was being reckless as well. Especially since "The Return" was construed by many to believe he would be back in the 2012-13 season also.

I dont think either should be criticized.

If Rose had just said that he wasn't coming back this year, then no one would have said anything about him. The problem is he was saying he was "probable". And when your team needs you like the Bulls did, then you got ppl looking at you like :why: if you are anywhere near probable then you should tough it out and play like the rest of your teammates were doing

...plus the whole league is shutting down the read option which is why Kap is kinda struggling now as well

Shady and Terelle Pryor are leading the league in rushing by running that scheme...a QB and RB.
