I’m convince calisthenics give you a way better body than using weights

I think the first guy lifted a considerable amount of weights for years.

But forget all of that, how much time will it take for you to do 1000 pushups?

You can save yourself a lot of time doing resistance training on the bench.

You don’t need 1000 push ups to get gains

Its definitely better for your joints, fascia and whole body strength. After falling for the weights hype for a while I realized calisthenics are just way better all round as you're using your body weight to train your body so everything is balanced with much better posterior chain activation/stabilization/recruitment.

Every old head I know who trained heavy had busted up knees, wrists, shoulder etc.. and were covered in funky creams and or popping pain killers after or preworkouts before just to get another session in and it made me reevaluate my approach a long time ago. Glad I did because this way I just scatter my workout throughout the day with some reps sprinkled here and there. Just built myself one of these:

For that isometric aspect as well. Throw in a good quality speed rope and you're gold as you create functional strength and a great mindbody connection in real world terms as opposed to isolated recruitment which can hide a lot of weakness with the appearance of strength.

You can’t get the same definition from just calisthenics, you need the weights to look like a god. A lot of those calisthenic dudes on YouTube didn’t build their body from just calisthenics facts.

Nah, steroids are better than all of that, save a lot of money too. Don't get me wrong, those guys are a lot more fit than the average lifter but most of those guys are juicing and then hitting the bodyweights. You need progressive overload to reasonably build muscle, so that should tell you all you need to know.
