I've learned something in life and this ,applies to minority women in general not just bw, but alot of that self hate/colorism/hair insecurities is just women wanting to be seen by the dominate group as attractive.

The harsh truth right here. However the truth is even more nuanced. There is hard power e.g. resources, wealth, military power and soft power e.g. media influences, culture..........Notice how for decades East Asians had built a certain amount of hard power growning economies and then a highly skilled/paid workforce in the west, yet they struggled the most. Their own women were not checking for them. Then with the explosion of K-Pop, South Korean Films & Dramas, fashion suddenly east asian men get a boost and now you have women all over the world who have east asian men as their type. So it's about real tangible power and how a demographic controls it's representation in general.
Cac's spent centuries making themselves hero's, liberators and Prince's in myths and fairy tales, this all culminated with the creation of cinema and the emergence of Hollywood so even Cac's who are unwashed, swagless, bums benefit from the accumulated collective image of white people along with the assumed hard power. That is why whenever you see a woman with regular, average Cac others assume (usually non white women) that he must be super romantic, understanding and secretly wealthy. Collective image is very important.

Some chick was cool with my ex, was all on that “hood” shyt outside of the military. Trying to fight nikkas, dating the nikkas that had the “look”, openly disrespectful, etc..
Ended up joining and linking up with some white kid who was nothing like the 20% looking nikkas she was chasing after before. Literally changed her whole persona
