The veteran presence talk is a bit overrated as some of those veterans as just as insecure about their playing time instead of mentoring like the team brings them in to do, which is why you see some of them end up being bought out to go elsewhere.

Even then, some veteran presence is useless as Vince Carter was on the Hawks years back and you still had beef leaking to the public between the young players and the vets.
This is like saying having young players is worthless because some guys don’t live up to their potential. What kind of logic are you using?

I’m going to let you tell me the difference between every other young team that failed in the playoffs and that 15 Warriors squad since we’re being disingenuous
You the one said “NEVER”

If I was being disengenous I woulda left it at GS. I didn’t, I then gave no less than three other examples of young teams reaching the CF or finals…all recent too. I think I’ve done more than enough to dismiss your take :troll:

Uh, the OG warriors

And recently there’s been a young team in the conference finals every year. Celtics last year, Suns year before (albeit with cp3), hawks the year before
using the warriors is like using lebron as a comparison :mjlol:

Steph is legitimately the GOAT of all GOAT's shooting the 3 and that was his breakout year working in an offense that literally changed how NBA basketball is played

Healthy Klay was NBA All Defensive team during the time and also blatantly shooting better than everyone not named Steph

all the rest of those teams lost so :yeshrug:

What other worldly talent is on Memphis rn? We've seen point guards with bunnies before, he hasn't even reached Prime Westbrook status where the midrange and 3 point shot are dropping consistently. Bane is breaking stereotypes by being a buff nikka who can shoot but that's about all they got going for them, JJJ is too immature

the team mentality just like the street nikkas they try to pretend they are

they can punch down on a team that's not trying just fine, but the second all that emotional energy they play with burns out and they get punched back, they fold like laundry every damn time :wow:

Using the warriors as an EXACT comparison isn’t needed. You get the point

Having said that….Ja is on a HOF, top PG of his era pace as was Steph. If Ja doesnt get hurt last year, he very likely is MVP.

Desmond bane looked like a nice lil auxillary piece and now outta nowhere is avg 20…on klay like 3pt efficiency… JJJ is their draymond

The point isnt to say this team will be the warriors, it's to say that young teams 'arrive' unexpectedly all the time and people just quickly adjust like it was expected. See the kings, see the pelicans before injuries

And id argue its already happened with memphis bc on paper they do not look like contenders at all
