With how white guys are always on edge—ready to snap for any reason. They’ve shoot up schools, churches, grocery stores—you can be a target just for existing.
They even turn on their own for whatever stupid reason.
When I was 12 or 13, a white lady with a baby called the cops on me and my friend, thinking we were stealing my dad’s car. The police showed up with guns drawn. With how things are, I can’t imagine what would’ve happened if we were 10 years older.
Funny thing too, we've been house hunting up here and more times we go into a basement or storage, we are a gun locker.

As horrible as mass shootings are, they are relatively rare. Also, since they are random, having a gun won't help in most cases. You'll get shot before you can pull out your gun.
Owning a gun to me is more useful in a rural area where the police will take forever to come and there are dangerous wild animals that you can encounter (like bears).
Anyway, personally, I don't feel the need to own a gun. So
