this what i do ever year with bonus. i put 90% into a jepq or gpiq. invest the other 10% into other funds i do smh and vgt. monthly after the ex divided day sell enough gpiq to buy 10 to 20% of those funds or nvda/avgo/tsm.

Alternatively you could just put all the money into the etf funds all at once but if you're doing individual stocks i would deposit them over a span of months to dollar cost average
