I'm getting vaccinated today after work and I'm nervous as hell.

Honestly, I have a big fear of needles. ( Didn't even want the epidural when I was giving birth because I knew how big the needles are.) At this point, it's more nerves, uncertain about the vaccine a little and one of my close friends is in the hospital with Covid.

Oh I see. Just let them know you're scared of needles and keep your eyes closed. They'll understand and try to to talk you through it. You'll be fine

Where's that poster who said alot of people are hiding behind fear of needles.

BTW, I just got my 2nd shot this week. No side effects. You'll be good . Nothing major.

Got boosted yesterday, and my symptoms are pretty minor compared to my second Pfizer shot. Slight cold feeling, then feeling hella hot, minor headache and body ache (lower back), lethargic. I haven’t even taken a Tylenol for the symptoms, I feel good, just lazy.

Nothing to be afraid of breh  the shot feels like nothing too, poke yourself normal speed and that’s what it feels like

Social media is really doing a number on society :scust: got people out here scared of a vaccine that like half the human race has taken :dead:

That's why I asked her what she's scared of. Damn near everyone in my family and friends are doubled vaxxed and or boosted, no one has had any major issues. Had to ask my cousin the same thing. Everyone around her is vaxxed and boosted and we're fine. I think people are literally scaring themselves over presumed fears rather than actually seeing someone get vaxxed and die etc :yeshrug:

You will be fine. I have heart issues and I'm fully vaxxed and boosted and I'm totally fine at all.

You will feel sore on your shoulder that's about it.

I'm more worried about getting covid than getting shots cause many people died by covid and heard none of them died by getting vaccinated shots.

Long term side effects too. I know covid ain't an automatic death sentence, but why folks want to play with potentially having headaches, brain fog, and respiratory issues as a long hauler is beyond me.

In most cases it's because of Facebook or some BS antivax video on Youtube they watched. :francis:

3 Moderna shots. Side effects as follows:

1st dose - not a damn thing. Got it in the morning and I took a Tylenol before bed just in case. Only felt a faint tingly sensation around the shot location

2nd dose - my arm hurt A LOT during the day. Tylenol in the afternoon and before bed. Slight tingle sensation around shot location

Booster - not a damn thing. Didn't bother with Tylenol

Focus on getting some rest and drinking some pedialyte and you'll be alright. Use an ice pack on your arm afterwords to help with any pain
