i wont defend democrat neoliberalism, but the governator was a republican as well, he ushered in some of this mess.… and completely controlled by Dems for decades.
and most of california's refugees are coming to my city which is a democrat oasis in an otherwise red state because there is nothing in those republican cities worth moving to.
In the 100 years from 1898 to 1998 there were only 3 Democrats elected to governor in California. It's more liberal at the moment but even still 4 of the last 8 California governors have been Republicans, including regressive dikkheads like Ronald Reagan and Pete Wilson. California has passed some regressive ballot initiatives too. It's a weird state politically, not as fully liberal as some stereotypes make it sound.… and completely controlled by Dems for decades.

So I did a little research. 5% tax on Billionaires yearly, on top of the regular tax. All the billionaires, and a couple major tech companies gonna move from New York to London. Thats a very easy move. Its a way for them to save 50-500 million a year. Probably more
So now the stock market shifts to London, and some companies soon follow. Now the US Govt aint getting anything off those companies and individuals who relocated. Universal healthcare and College tuition legislation is already in place. And we losing the billionaires and companies we were after in the first palce. Now the government has to go out of pocket to make up the difference. The economy goes into a depression. The Democratic name is slandered, Trump is now seen as the last president who produced a strong economy. For like 45-50 years, democratic candidates are unable to win elections in the house, senate and white house.
Am I missing something

You have to understand something. US customers are thee most desired by all companies world wide. because we has a whole have the greatest purchasing power for the most people in one country.
but aside from all of these things.
You do realize london aint going to just let these companies ish all over them like they do us. They will have to go to ireland as they already are doing with their main offices or faux main offices to get a tax break. but now they will truly have to move there. who's trying to move to ireland for real? not many. and there's a reason you can hide there..for now. their court systems are not as robust as ours here in the US of A. we have the best or close to the best in the world when it comes to protecting your business and property rights. go elsewhere and face the wrath of all that shady nonsense that happens in all these other spots.
lastly, facebook was an idea that came from some other kids in college. meaning, the guy thats the face of facebook is just one of many people will good to great ideas. there are many of smart people with ideas that can and will work and make them rich. not necessarily bezos rich but rich enough to be content. this means these people that are up on top now are not the only people in the US of A with good ideas. so if they leave, SO. we make another Hov. we are not Dame dash. They are. This is not Rocafella. This is Universal Music group. we dont come and go. we create and find great talent. thats what we do. a few years back yall thought the only rich smart guys were Bill gates and Steve jobs, didnt you? didnt you? and then bezos and facebook boy comes out of now where. the same can happen again. because we've done this a million times.

the dems are not that loyal to the tom foolery. there are certain aspects of them that are loyal to the corporate dem structure. but thats about it.
its not like its 100% progressive dems holding the pen.

What is the issue with holding them accountable or giving them credit for where the state is
