-The average for the workforce is quoted at above 50 atleast..I believe the number is 58yr old.

-Been labor issues due to age and retirements but also vaccine

-Jobs aren't easily replaced as they need to get a Mariner license from the coast guard

-MOST IMPORTANTLY it's a shyt job due to being on call scheduled for the first few years.


COMPANIES WHO TREAT EMPLOYEES LIKE shyt ARE GETTING EXPOSED AND FACING THE CONSEQUENCES.

My buddy works for a dealer. They are dealing with technician shortages at all the dealerships. Simple couple hour repairs are taking days right now since they are overloading the same few techs. Independent mechanics are getting a lot of work off this though but their schedules are getting brazy.

However, I think while some foods may stock out I don't see it all going at once. The biggest problem I see is progressively higher prices and a "panic", especially at the holidays, if rumors start swirling stuff won't be available. Like a bank run at the grocery store which could last a few days or more.

This country is lucky we don't have to import too much food due to farmer subsidies but getting it from farm to table is going to be an increasing issue. As before I would keep 1-2 weeks worth of dry/canned goods at least. Not preparing for the apocalypse but giving yourself flexibility if stuff is only sporadically available.

At the end of the day though, this country would bring in the National Guard to run food plants before letting it get out of control. The elites don't want mass chaos (I hope).
