Yeah Norristown always gets made fun of. It's an unofficial neighborhood of Philly.

I know people from there when I used to work at KOP back in the day. Its all love but that's how a lot of cats do see it though.

If you're looking to cop a crip and have it go up in value south and east Kensingon adjacent to Fishtown is Hot right now and will continue to pop....

I've lived in just about every section except South Philly......and I think the best pocket to be in is east of broad from south street up to castor.....property values go up and its very easy to get in and out of and move around (95 and 76 are close by) other parts of the city there's no real quick way to get there it can be a bytch getting in and out ....

Also this pocket has the best dining and social life (bars, lounges and entertainment) for young folks

And I never tried to buy a beat up Audi I came across one and passed on it. My life is on the up and up, I’m smart enough to realize my best years will likely be outside of Philly. Not disrespect, just facts. I lived there for 20 years. I used to work in radio, so I got in mad clubs for free. One of my best friends is the head bouncer at a club I'm not gonna name downtown.

Having traveled to just about every city over a million people in this country, there's 10 other cities with more shyt going on than Philly. I used to hangout downtown, uni city (Copas was and is still my spot), north Philly at some hood ass spots, west Philly Scooters and whatever they call it now...Darby; Fibburs and Carlettes, I've been all over.

I don't go out anymore tho
Also I'm never in town anymore due to work

Kensington is a big area and South and East Kensington is popping' in real estate....its only when you go further up above Lehigh it gets really ugly anything below is booming

Old City is a good spot, less degenerates, North, West, and South Philly, are warzones that have no chance of recovery...

But this all depends on your budget...

Ok I'ma keep it a buck. My mom used to live near Kensington and it was pretty alright. She lived around a bunch of Ricans and Italians so shyt rarely popped off. Plus the store around her way used to sell these fire ass hoagies . I remember leaving and damn near being pissed off on the train because I left the hoagie in my moms fridge. Sadly she ate it because I wasn't going to come back anytime soon but still.

King's Oak and a couple other places in The Piazza are my shyt. I hit Barcade with my day ones when I come into town. Reef on south street or Upper Deck in Germantown was my afterhours shyt.

When I worked in radio I always got in Pinnacle, Palmers, Chrome, Shampoo, Mad River for free because we did events there every week.

Throw Conshohocken to the mix. I swear if I would had stayed up there, that was going to be the endgame of getting a crib or apartment over there.

Overbrook is okay depending on where you live at.

West is not that bad if you are near the hospital and college parts and not in the shytty areas. Now SouthwestNAH

North

South. Its pretty much how it sounds. You either deal with CACs or grimy Sigel Gang dudes.

Overall, its pretty much who you know and minding your own fukking business. I don't know if that shyt applies anymore with all the foolishness going on up there, but compared to living in other cities in the North East. You can truly make it in Philly if you have heart, the brains, and strength to manage in the City of Brotherly Love
