I'm joining my local NAACP chapter in accordance with Project Takeover (ADOS)

If you were aware about last months ADOS conference. Breaking Brown announced project takeover. In which ADOS will enter these old civil rights orgs and basically streer them in the correct direction because for decades they have been useless for Black people in America.





Will be a member myself come Saturday want to sign up in person you can do it online $30 a year for Adult annual membership.

I advise any ADOS to do the same where you at. We have to be the change.

It's time for us to step in.

Not that I disagree with this because I agree these organizations have long been neutered and ineffective.

But if you're planning a takeover, its probably better to do it in silence. Announcing you're coming in from the get-go to usurp leadership and power from the status quo basically paints a giant target on your back unnecessarily by said people who given you're new and just a lowly peon to start will make sure you stay a lowly peon through their influence.

Basically, announcing this shyt with your government name like folks in those tweets is dumb as hell and won't result in taking over anything as you will be blacklisted as a person trying to disrupt things.

What does this even mean in regards to project take over, we ain't no fukking agents, these are supposed to be our institutions, and I ain't just talmbout NAACP, but all these institutions that laid their foundation off our backs. We taking them back, and we don't got to be quiet about it.

I have mixed feelings about using an older group like the NAACP and their reputation when you should start your own but I also understand the benefit of aligning yourself with an established organization for support and resource purposes . Tread carefully tho

If you're posting your real name online and effectively telling leadership I'm coming for you without any power in the organization yet, what do you expect to happen dummy?

This is like showing up at your first day of work and telling your boss seriously that you're here to take his job and get him fired. Either he is going to get you out immediately or tie your hands to the point given he has more power and influence than you where you can do shyt.
