I learned how to use bow and arrows in many summer camps. Its a pretty good weapon, but your fingers can get raw from pulling and holding the arrow. Get a glove like Michael Jackson.

Looks like I don't need string to bowfish. Messing with the string is one of the things I hate most bout fishing. We got creeks shallow enough for me to just retrieve the arrow with the fish stuck to it. Just need to make sure I get the right arrowhead.
