You have to consider his whole argument. Summoning it up: he isn't African because he has African DNA just as he isn't European because he has European DNA. Race is dynamic because it isn't real (it's the reason why elite whites expanded the definition of 'white' to fit their needs). Only 0.01% of your DNA is based on certain markers from differing self-reported regions. 99.9% of your DNA is the same as everyone else in the world. A whole identity cannot be based on 0.01%.
Your identity is based around culture, lineage, and the struggle to survive and thrive in the land you occupy.

And, race only works for those at the top as they incentivize those at the bottom to look at the superficial characteristics as opposed to things of value/meaning.
In less words, there is no real 'race" other than whites. It is an entirely meaningless concept outside of elite whites.



African cuisine is different from American Freedmen cuisine.
