My Wife said it’s a great movie and has me watching it now.
:beli:
She is asleep right now.
:what:
She’s a TP fan unfortunately. I trust her opinion 95% of the time but when it comes to TP…
:mjlol:
She was braiding our daughter’s hair today and watching Ruthless. If you don’t know what Ruthless is consider yourself lucky.
:francis:
TP he alot of foolery going on in that show.
:dame:

:salute: Props to Tyler Perry for giving Sinbad work. Houseguest is still one of my favorite movies, and I wish nothing but good things for bruh, health and all. That being said, :mjlol:this movie wasn't it lol. I'm usually down for some Tyler Perry fukkery, but he's at his worst when writing about trauma. He goes to the absolute extremes to make us sympathize with his characters. So much so that the trauma comes off as cartoonishly cruel and over the top. I've also noticed this with Oprah and Lee Daniels' movies. Taraji's character gets everything and the kitchen sink thrown at her. That it started to become comedic. :russ:Her boss and damn near everyone around her were cartoonishly evil. :ehh:Taraji did her thing tho, I'll give the movie a 5/10.
