Snoop would've stole on one of them fools then jetted :lolbron:

I could definitely see that being the result. There was a story years ago that when Snoop first left Deathrow he was either performing at a show or visiting a show and some Deathrow goons ran up on him backstage and socked him a couple times before he took off running. Snoop rolls deep so that wouldn't happen these days but back then he got ran up on a couple times.

Except Xzibit was running around reppin Crip like it was going out of style at the time...

Same reason Tha Likz were low key beefing with him.

While I totally agree with what you are saying, you are also talking about a guy who made the song 'Get Your Walk On'
nikka was gettin it in hard in the 'get your walk on' video wasn't he? lol

how did Suge/Xzibit conversation become public knowledge? Had to be Suge lmao and it got back to Snoop

Two interviews, one with Suge and one with Xzibit. They both spoke on it around the time it happened. Both interviews were in The Source if I remember correctly.

i mean crooked is one of illest spitters period.

Crooked I should have been a star. Of all the missed opportunities Death Row had, a Crooked I album not dropping in 2002 is a top three (other two being albums from Nate Dogg & Lady of Rage not dropping immediately after Above the Rim). He had a lot of hot records on his album, and IMO the track below would have blown up had some promotion been put behind it. It's baffling that Suge kept postponing this album.

The way i remember the Suge story is Xzibit was at a restaurant and Suge walked up and asked "are you down with Dre and Snoop". Xzibit said "I don't really know those dudes.... I just do music with them". This after Snoop introduced him to the masses with B-Please and Dre produced his biggest hit, "X". Xzibit owed much if not all of his commercial success to those two. His answer should have been "f#ck yeah, I'm down with them" and took that beating... if it even came to that. He was in a public place mind you, it's not like he was going to get murdered in TGI Friday's. Suge didn't have him in a dark alley with a pistol to his head asking him the question. It was a hoe response. No loyalty. I don't think Dre worked with him since, which would help explain the fall off.

Dre and X are like super best friends now. X had photos of them away with their wives on Dres boat.

Yeah I think he might have been C-Walking in the video even...been a while since I seen it. Not to mention the whole lyrics to the song was more on some gangsta shyt than say his Paparazzi days. He was extra with it after Dub C and them was on tour in The Up In Smoke Tour...

The Likz dissed him for trying to be too much of a gangsta...

This nikka's a bytch like his wife
Suge Knight's a bytch, and that's on my life
And I'ma let the whole world see
Cause you fukked up the industry, and that's on me
We can go head up, nikka, set it up
Or we can do the other thing, I love to wet it up
Your rappers and artists, tell em, shut it up
Cause I'll fukk every last one of em up, especially Kurupt (shshshsh)
See that's my lil homeboy, so he knows what's up (what's up)
He better keep it Crippin, and slip his clip in
Cause these nikkas trippin, this is official business

:whoo::whew:

:deadmanny: My favorite all time Snoop verse, doesn't get more gangsta then that:ohlawd:

I do not take Snoop seriously at all. Dude has not put in no work outside of getting punked. Suge slapped him, like he said throwing up when people wanted to fade with him. Wasn't it Tray Dee who had him running out his own house and let's not forget when Uncle Luke punked him in his face in New Orleans. Dude is studio as hell so I don't see why anyone is scared of this dude.

I heard Snoop put in work before he got fame, did a few drive bys and shyt, also don't forgetthis nicca caught a murder change back in 93 or 94 you probably wasn't even alive. Don't speak on shyt you don't know youngin.

Pick the new Cypress Hill up
And go find who did that shyt to Xzibit
And go fill up a whole liquor bottle with piss
And shatter his fukkin lips wit' it"

:scust:@making me go back to this :trash: ass album
