Most of the time I feel confused about myself. Well, lost and just confused. It's hard out here man.

stay strong breh. You're still young and learning who you are. I'm older than you, and I still have revelations about myself that blow my mind

I think when we're young, we think we know everything a lot of the time... but we're all stll growing and learning

Congrats on the cert. Also confusion is apart of life. It also indicates that u give a damn. To be confused is to care. Most people don't give a damn or are too distracted by other shyt to contemplate what they don't get about themselves. Ur thinking about ur future and looking for understanding.

Ironically the fact that ur in this place puts u closer than most others who don't care or are too busy to care about understanding themselves and their purpose.
He has orientation for a pharmacy tech program.

Give him congrats if he finishes.

How gangsta am I??
Yo.. today I got time, cuz:troll:

A career is built with a series of steps
Each progressively more challenging and with more responsibility
Building off what came before

Someone who might want to own their own auto mechanic shop
Might spend years working as a mechanic
Might spend years as some sort of service department manager at a car dealership
.. might go to the community college and take their small business program (8 night classes over 2-3 years)
Or something like that

So when they go to the bank and ask for that loan, the lending officer can say..
"This makes sense"
This person has developed some exptertise
...and this person now seems ready to run a car repair shop

Judgmental Joe has repeatedly said he wants to be a US Congressman
Well, okay.. :aicmon:
What would someone need to do, over a span of 25 years,,
To make a run for public office look credible

Personally,,, I'd start by studying the top 1000 politicians (current and recent)
From president to Senator, Congress, governor, mayors of major cities, etc
Study their bios
Then reverse engineer
If 98% of them are xyz.. Then id plan on doing that, too
Maybe 60% of them are attorneys..
Well, cool.. But what did the other 40% do??
Were they veterans? Businessmen?
This is all public information

my next step would be to build up a life where I would be.. At least in broad strokes.. in the ballpark of credibility for my destination
And in some ways, it all can tie in..
You can be changing bedpans at a VA hospital
And say "that taught me the importance of having a strong military" or whatever
But you don't need to be changing bedpans for 20 years to make that statement
It could've been a 3 month job to pay bills when you were desperate for cash

Life is short, folks:mjcry:
So very short
If you want to be a major player in a given field
You have to get knee deep in it

You can't flit around at an introductory level
You have to be invested,, taking on increasing responsibility
Not repeating entry level work over and over again

That's why taking action is so important
Time is too short to be pump faking
Pursuing disparate ideas that don't tie into advancing the major goal

"Hey, I have 20 years experience":blessed:
No, you have 2 years of experience repeated 10 times:scust:
