I know y’all 6 figure brehs got luxury downtown apartments for less than $1,000 a month on here but I’ve been check an apartment prices in the Philadelphia area and everything just seems too high for most people.

Trying to help my friend find an apartment but there’s nothing nice in his budget.

A new apartment complex is being built across the street from my house. Rent for a studio starts at $1100. This is in the Midwest and not even that close to downtown here.

Based off what? Rent is literally paying the mortgage on said house/condo/apt.
Save a down payment and buy something cheaper than the what you are currently buying for your landlord
BOA just started a program to give mortgages with no down payment to POC, no excuses
