Ever since the NBA got that TV money all the NBA players been acting funny style. Wanting to rest for no reason, complaining about the regular season being too long/pointless, shytting on fans..... I mean yea yall got ya money but yall are fukking this up for the next generation of players.

The message the players are sending is fukk the regular season, wait until the finals to tune in......like those other 94 games aren't the reason they got paid all this money :martin:

I don't care what your profession is, you don't devalue your brand to customers like that. And KD should be the last person doing this in that he is one of the main reason paritiy doesn't exist in this league.

All these nikkas are worried about in this era is ring chasing and making money, ain't none of these dudes concerned with the future of the league once they're gone.

That's the point...

It's bad business on both ends of this equation. I don't care how many millions or billions your making, devaluing your own product like this is insane. If it's between this and watching no basketball I'm almost at the point where I'm ready to say fukk it. I have never seen a generation of players/teams with such little concern for the fans and the overall product as a whole. Ring chasing and fugazi contracts are bringing this league down and the players and owners all share blame in that.

The NBA is in denial about the state of the game right now. All the eggs are in one basket and that's counting on the finals to be as great as they were last year.....if the finals don't live up to the hype then what? People will stop watching the game if this continues, it won't happen all at once but the ratings will go down and the pockets of the entire NBA will suffer for it.

Can't blame players for ring chasing when media and fans judge players on rings

Normally I'd be inclined to agree with you but at the end of the day Durant is a grown ass man who made a grown ass decision. This is a cut throat league where the legacy of a star player is based upon championships. Durant put himself in the best position possible to win a championship. I'm done complaining about it

Word put somebody like Barkley in your top 10 GOAT list and people gon be like:dwillhuh:

"But but but Chuck never won a championship"

That's the first thing that will come out of somebody mouth

What era had players making moves for the future generations and not their best interests?

I only watch basketball and football plus big boxing match and Olympic track and field.

I don't mind blow outs to be honest. Blow outs been going on since the beginning of sports. Now all of sudden think it's a problem because people want to see the NBA ratings go down.

The league pass I brought was NBA. I watched every playoff game. Im a basketball head so it's hard for me to understand the casual fan's perspective when they talk about games not being competitive and shyt. Because most of time blow outs be good basketball. One team just be clicking on all cylinders. Hitting the hockey assist, making 3-4 passes without the ball touching the ground. They playing defense with active hands, getting in the passing lanes, getting 4-5 stops in a row making the other team constantly call time out because they can't get in rhythm, causing turnovers, playing good help defense.

It's hard for a casual fan to appreciate that. They only understand if it's 2 minutes to go and it's a close ballgame. But I say majority of tight ball games just be sloppy basketball. 2 teams not running set plays, not making the extra pass, missing a bunch of shots, running ISO trying to take their man off the dribble, settling for jump shots or contested shots, not communicating on defense, having mental lapses, not playing help defense when their teammate gets beat off the dribble. Just dumb shyt plus heroball shyt.

Most of time close games go something like this both teams playing sloppy, one go on a run, back to playing sloppy, other team go on a run, back to playing sloppy, still playing sloppy but now we got 5 minutes to go in the 4th. This the time the casual fan start playing attention because majority of the game they playing on their phone or doing other shyt. So that's why in their head they think that a good game.

But the only reason casual fans on The Coli been saying this is the WOAT playoffs because the Warriors and Cavs haven't lost yet. I guarantee if the Cavs and Warriors had 3-4 losses to their resume they wouldn't saying shyt. You got to take their opinion with a grain of salt. They probably salty their favorite team not on the level of the Cavs or Warriors. That's all
Sums it up.

No one complaining when Tom Brady throws 5TD's on Jacksonville and runs through the ACC for nearly 20yrs...

Harden needs more help.

Harden needs to dedicated himself to being the absolute best player he can be on both sides of the court as do a lot of other players not on the Cavs or the Warriors but when young men are making 50-200 million dollars to play ball not everyone of them are gonna care about being the absolute best or an all time great. Or even winning Chips for that matter.

I've come to this realization after this Harden fiasco and tho I'm not accepting it there's really nothing you can do about it.
