Yea it was disappointing compared to D1. The production wasn't the same without Kanye and Just Blaze and heatmakers only doin a few tracks, and it just had a totally different feel. There wasn't no powerful music, there wasn't no chemistry like on D1. Ain't even got 1 damn song with cam juelz and Jimmy all On it together. How does that happen ???
Plus I think Cam was trying too hard to put on JR Writer, SAS, 40 cal etc with D2......Not that they was Wack or anything but dipset fans still wanted to mainly hear Cam, juelz and Jimmy at that time. Especially after how dope d1 was.
looking back you can kinda tell it was the beginning of the end for the dips at this point. it was pretty much all downhill from there and they ain't never really recovered as a group.
yup people wanted/expected the Cam/Juelz/Jimmy trio on Diplomats albums, but there were alot of B-tier acts presented here (Hell Rell, 40 Cal, Jha Jha, JR, SAS)
DI2 debuted at #46 (!) on the BB charts, pretty awful
Push It, Crunk Muzik and SANTANA singles all flopped
Dipset as a group was dead after this album unfortunately, since it wasn't that bad at all (see above post)
However, Juelz remained one of the hottest youngsters in the rap game in 2005, and Cam still had some star power
Crunk Muzik did feature Juelz, Jimmy and Cam together tho. funny how it was the best track imo

" at the production and style, but I don't remember people feeling part 2 much, if at all. I had only heard 3 songs from it back then, and felt let down and didn't bother to check for the rest.
????
HARRRD,but Camron fukked it off with his lame laid back rap style! Santana and Jones repped for that hard azz track though! Favorite song on that album!
anything they dropped was fire and they put shyt out every week for damn near 2 years. Their catalog is insane
