im from baltimore, grew up in pg county. but the culture of new york city gravitated towards me when i was really young because of Shyheim. after that i was full fledged into it. the music of my city was mainly go go music which i didn’t care for. below is me and shyheim on my birthday last year.

Why do you still dress like 1997?
100%. New York culture never died, its still popping today. People dont even realize most black stylists in hollywood derive from new York.Would you be interested in creating a page that highlights recent NYC history and culture?
It’s a gold mine of content out there from the lite feet era up to today. Great footage of everything from D Cole battles to Pop smoke who left behind a lot of great photography
Even individuals like Diallo from Caps USA in Harlem who is like a Dapper Dan for fitted hats and was one of the trendsetting stores bringing exclusive vintage grey bottom World Series hats popping to the point in parts of NYC its frowned upon to do it any other way and now you have white companies like Hat Club capitalizing on what was started and people in other regions doing it uptown style.
