Lol nikka I walk around with free form dreadlocks in rasta tams and find a way to bring up institutional racism almost everyday. And I love the culture. Literally any group you want to find and connect with is out here. If you've only been around wannabes that's on you.
I'd rather have a coli meet up with the bay area brehs. I need y'all to show me the main places these beautiful brown women who are into art, conscious music, and woke nikkas hang out.

For decent bars in downtown Oakland check out, Somar, Leige, Legonaires, Era, New Parish, The District, and Make Westing. I've been out of the loop for a while but I think those should all still be decent choices.

There's cornballs everywhere in the states, people like to act like being real is exclusive to strictly their respective areas lol. I never understood why we always get singled out, especially since a majority of us Northern Californians tend to stay in our lanes and just chill out anyways. If you want to try to and find some women during the daytime, do a couple laps around Lake Merritt and check out the campuses at Laney College and UC Berkeley.
This is all assuming you're in or close to the East Bay though. San Jose cracks too if you're in the South Bay. The City is kind of gay nowadays.
