I miss it so much breh. I grew up in the East Bay from 2-18.

Best area in all of the United States. There is so much to do and so much culture.

Went to De La Salle but got kicked out then went to YV in high school.

Concord is a good area. Walnut creek is the white zone/affluent area. Clayton valley is cool. Antioch is okay I guess. Depends. I used to live in Bay Point (West Pittsburg) and was raised around there.

Environmentally it's decent, but the people and culture through the eyes of a non-sellout black male are terrible. I will say though, cali is one of the few places you can get away with being a wannabe, so there's that.

Lol nikka I walk around with free form dreadlocks in rasta tams and find a way to bring up institutional racism almost everyday. And I love the culture. Literally any group you want to find and connect with is out here. If you've only been around wannabes that's on you.
