Age doesn't determine how well someone proccessess love. You can even give someone all the game in the world and their astrology/genetics will still determine how they process and perceive love. You will need to know these things about your child so you can give them a personalized road map. There are more ways than a phone that show interest,but everybody can tell when someone lacks interest based on the interest people show in other things compared to you. If a man daily can spend hours on his video game but not spend hours talking to you? I won't be telling my daughter to just go with her feelings,and go with the flow. Always go with the actions over the feeling. The crux is the the way you perceive someones actions are based on feelings. This is where it gets tricky and you have to keep it simple. Certain things are damn near universal observation. I'm sure we all have witnessed certain actions that play out the same in the end over and over again,its practically ineveitable.

I agree with this fully. I think how Disney literally spoon fed such a convoluted topic such as love to children contributed to the ridiculous and bound to fail expectations a lot of millennials have about love.

When you think back to a lot of Disney movies, it literally taught both sexes that fukk everything, love for the white man is what matters

Ariel changed race to chase cac peen. Pocahontas betrayed her village for cac peen. In Snow White, only a cac was able to break the curse. Belle was exchanging convo and having sing-a-longs to furniture with souls and lived with a beastly furry for cac peen. Jane (I think that was her name from Tarzan) hung out with animals that could literally rip her limb from limb for cac peen.

Ironically, the non-white centred Disney films did a good job of keeping it about the kids.
