They'll never be another bc people don't have the patience to let someone grow up. Look at how music is now. A artist can drop a fire ass album and less than a week later they talking about how they need another one. Somebody could sing their asses off but Twitter gonna hate the way they dress or something. People don't let artist mature anymore.
it's the way the media is now too though.

there was just much less music back then, much less new music and much less access to new music once it was out.

shyt was allowed to cook. it's not just dumbass fans, it's everything changing.

either way nobody close to MJ. look at the people who get compared these days... beyonce and the weeknd... or prime chris brown... they all missing a LOT, but of course in the current microwave culture some pretend they're on the same level.

I laugh when ppl compare Beyonce to MJ... I mean, she's got a huge talent, no doubt about that, but her music is trash.

Nobody is listening to Drunk in Love today. Nobody is playing that Pineapples album today.

Her music is trash. If she had some actual talented songwriters and composers behind her, she probably COULD at least get close to MJ's level. But her content is trash.

Chris brown, beyonce and Wayne are the last three I know of that had that time to cook. Even then they had to drop hit after hit. One or two bad songs and nikkas act like Wayne or CB didn't give them damn near 20 years of hits already. Mike had some misses around the end of his career but nobody said he was trash like they would now

Edit: See the post right before this one as an example :francis:

Am I the only one that constantly notices the shade Mike throws at Jermaine at the beginning? I would think nothing of it then but knowing their history with each other I caught that shyt. "I miss those magical moments with all my brothers." Jermaine was like... :obama:..."including Jermaine":gucci:
Jermaine had to feel a type of way when the Jacksons are all in their prime and drop DESTINY...then going on tour...they were dropping heat..randy getting groupies and attention out the ass.

Jermaine was probably the second favorite in the j5....then randy took that role..and then randy had a car accident and almost died so he was getting that sympathy p*ssy AND "you're famous" p*ssy.

Brehs.... do yall know how hard it is to go from being a huge child star to an adult superstar, bigger than everybody on earth?

Have yall ever thought about how hard that is to pull off, cause the world has seen you since you were a little child and that's all they can see you as.

This nicca MJ, man.... lemme stop before I start tearing up over here...:wow::wow::wow:
Yea during the Making of Thriller John Landis talks about he got the call to direct it and he was like "little Michael jackson from the Jackson 5 wants me to direct his video? "

You know Paul mccacney saw Mike as just that Jackson 5 kid too.
Which is why he was so bitter Mike bossed up.

Even Eddie Murphy kinda dissed Mike when he said "he's not the most masculine fella in the world".

Mike bossed the fukk up on everyone with that performance.

SHES NO MICHAEL

I give Beyonce kudos because she ain't abadon her core fanbase...she makes music for Black women first and foremost ...:ehh:

She doesn't try to genre hop or try to appeal to cacs much at all.
