Am I the only one that constantly notices the shade Mike throws at Jermaine at the beginning? I would think nothing of it then but knowing their history with each other I caught that shyt. "I miss those magical moments with all my brothers." Jermaine was like......"including Jermaine"
Jermaine had been absent from the group for almost a decade. When The Jacksons left Motown for Epic Jermaine stayed with Motown out of loyalty to Barry Gordy and in defiance of Joe. Michael was hurt by Jermaine’s “betrayal” and it caused a rift between them. Jermaine performing that night with his brothers was the first time the original Jackson 5 had performed since the split with Motown.
Michael wasn’t throwing shade at Jermaine THAT night, he was acknowledging their reconciliation
