The few Bron haters left are just pathetic at this point. As far as reasonable Bron criticism, that ship has sailed a long time ago :pachaha:

The man has no shame. What'd you expect from a nikka who ratted out Draymond to the league for an imaginary nut/groin kick to get him suspended for what would've been an inevitable 4 - 1 series loss for the Cavs in last years Final? :yeshrug:

He used to do this sitting out of games shyt in Miami as well whenever Melo would come to town. He got 40 points dropped on him coming off a year in which he was supposedly "robbed of DPOY" in '09 (he finished second to Dwight) and subsequently refused to play/guard prime Melo whenever it was time to face the Knicks.

We don't even have to restrict this shyt to basketball greats like MJ and Kobe, he just flat out doesn't have the competitive spirit of the rest of the world's finest athletes in Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi, Tom Brady, Federer, Serena, Bolt, Phelps and even Floyd Mayweather, whose coming out of retirement at 40 years old to take a fight that he really doesn't have to, but he's doing it because that's what the greatest competitors do.

Bron is the worst ambassador the sport of basketball could have coming off the likes of Kobe, MJ, Bird, Magic, etc.

lmao now you're just making up :duck:'s. In fact, Melo sat out 2 games between the them back in January '12 and again in December '12. From February 2011 to May 2014, LeBron sat out a grand total of ONE Knicks game. But pretend these games didn't happen brehs:

And of course he killed him in the 2012 playoffs but keep clinging to one regular season game from seven years ago brehs.

The kid in your AVI

nikkas act like 2007 doesn't exist. :heh:

Kobe Bryant confirms he rejected trade to Pistons

I'm no stan either way, but a lot of the Kobe dudes in these discussions forget that their boy tried to force his way out of LA on more than one occasion. threw Bynum all the way under the bus before he broke out in '08 because mitch didn't wanna move him for old ass J-Kidd.

Kobe and jordan are both terrible examples. Kobes was only kobe for about 14 years and then his body broke down. Jordan took 2 years off after just 9 years in, played another 3 and retired.Lebron has 14 years under his belt now and looks like he has another 3 great years to go.

He was fighting this rest shyt last year when he was 37 years old and playing on fumes.

Remember what he did in 2012-13 at 34 years old before he blew out his achilles? Dude played 38+ minutes in almost every game. And he was putting up 27-6-6 at that age. He wasn't sitting out games to rest. He was out there looking like young Kobe dunking on everyone. Remember those were the Vino days.

I don't remember ever seeing Kobe sit out a game for rest till he blew out his achilles in 2013. I remember in 2011 there was a big deal made out of the fact he wasn't practicing cause his knees were hurt. But he played in every game.

That's how crazy Kobe was. He was pissed in 2011 that he couldn't practice everyday. I don't think he would have allowed himself to sit out games where he is perfectly healthy when he was 32 years old.
Lol @ you saying this like it's a good thing :heh:

You realize this is why Kobe body broke down right?

I'm not the type to brag but I put bread on my athletic career being superior to yours and I damn sure ain't white...

My issue with "maintenance days" is all they do is further alienate the paying customer from the player. A game check for top tier NBA players is more than an average guy makes in a year...so already there's a disconnect.

The absolute LEAST you can do as a player is actually play the game. My grandfather worked 12-13 hour shifts for 6 days a week in the plant for 30+ years and died from stomach cancer working around hazardous fumes and particles for decades. He put all his kids and his grandkids through college from that grind. He didn't get "maintenance days" aside from a hoe ass 2 weeks vacation every year.

This isn't about the disgruntled white guy mad because a predominantly black league has players making hundreds of millions and taking games off to "rest". Y'all clowns are so quick to throw a racial component in every situation. This is about recognizing the natural disconnect between fans and players simply based on the money and bridging that gap as much as possible by simply going out there and playing.

Showing up and doing your job. Of all the luxuries an NBA player is afforded the luxury of being told you don't have to play by coaches/management is one 90% of the folks buying tickets to watch you can't afford. If that reality isn't respected by the league it will certainly bite them in the ass in a major way eventually.

NBA players are independent contractors last time I checked. They not W-2. 1099 just has to get the ultimate goal (finals appearance & hope it goes your way). 1099 & W-2 are different in the real world....See Uber!

Eastside of that Motor
I'm a Kobe hater but I saw the boy play on a torn acl. Play all kinds of messed up.

I'm not a big Jordan but Mike was not playing that, he respected the culture.

Hell, even A.I. hungover from the casino and broken into a million pieces from injuries still played

Now, what's the difference between these 3 and the players now? Babied through AAU. They don't respect the craft, or the people. It's been about the fame/$ since age 13-14

breh i wasnt even adressing the clowns and usual trolls of this forum/thread.. it was more about the medias

And good for you if your athletic career is on point. :yeshrug: :salute: Sorry for your grand father but what does it has to do with the matter at hand? most of us have to work through long shifts and what not but the end game for professional athetes and the "average joe" is not the same.
