As I said, there's already a natural disconnect between fans and players just based on the money players make...exacerbating this disconnect by allowing for "maintenance days" further alienates the fans and is straight up bad business. cacs feel like these guys don't be deserve the money they get paid for being good at basketball. Nobody knows what it's like on your body playing 82 game seasons, let alone doing it 14 years like Bron plus playoff runs. Most people can't even run back to back games of 5 on 5 to 21

In all honesty the NBA should start the season earliers to spread out all 82 games. Preseason should start right after summer league and the season should start in mid September rather late october to end back to back games. Back to back games is woat and the players are only human.
I don't see why people are mentioned MJ first retirement, when he went to go play baseball. Its not like he was just chilling doing nothing.
