And this is why Apple fanboys are clowns. I saw a ton of them crying on Twitter over this.

Imagine being upset that people may soon be able to just message each other without bullshyt restrictions

The EU is slowly forcing Apple to lean back on a host of issues.

They probably did this before the EU started to look at iMessage a little more closely.

why are people so opposed to interoperability?

i see people on reddit and twitter wishing for a single app they can use to contact all their whatsapp , facebook, telegram contacts not knowing thats what we had growing up with GAIM/Pidgin, Trillian etc. I use to use one app to message people on 5+ different networks.

I literally just switched to android after like ten years with a iphone. Only one person did I use imessage with everyone else is whatsapp and now i message that person on whatsapp
