Mic Geronimo bit NAS...a specific artist that was out at the moment...and thing is people still fukked wit Mic Geronimo...WHO specifically is the kid biting?..he just sounds like an era and maybe some people he's been influenced by just like MOST other rappers...u cant really compare cause guess what?..hip hop is too young for u to...if he prefers that old 90s sound. So what..the kid is 17 he has a GREAT base to start improving...he so young and has mad room for improvment and development...damn near every mainatream artist bite eachothers flows and whole sound and nikkas choose to pick on this kid for tryna bring a sound originated by HIS CITY...I BEEN sayin that I wanna hear what he sounds like over current production n such...lets atleast wait and see what this kid has to offer before tearing the lil nikka down...its funny cause im one of the first cats on here to point out when somebody is biting...

The level of "era homage" dude is doing less like paying homage and more like adapting an identity because he can't rock w/his own

Its not even the whole him getting his sound from the 90s or going back to a "East Coast" sound. Its jus that straight up this nikka is a characture of old skool music and his music does not build upon the old sound or is even better than what he is trying to recreate. Not only that, but there are a plethora of original up and coming NY artists who do what this cornball is trying to do 100%x better. The shyt Ive heard from acts like The Underachievers, that wavy nikka Armvnii, Action Bronson, Coke Boyz shyt even FlatBush Zombies are better than Joey badass and his impression of being Mr.Cheeks.
