In that song Nelly said "I'm tired of people judging what's real HipHop. Half the time you be them n!ggaz who album flops"

Yea i get that. But it wasnt a shot at krs and nelly even confirmed that but it didnt stop him from going after nelly. I think krs one wanted to go at him because his whole outlook on mainstream rap in general was that they were ruining hip hop.

And its kind of true what nelly said. All these back packer rappers always saying they real hip hop acting like they wouldnt sell out if given the chance (see Xzibit, the same guy who made paparazzi)

But Since he's marketed as being Country and being Country was always associated with the South back then I would mistake him for being from the South

just like how people know D.O.C is from Texas but forget sometimes and label him as a Westcoast rapper
