Prince can probably hit up Roger Goddell and do the Super Bowl whenever he wants.

With Max Martin's position in the music industry now . . why hasn't he made this happen? I think Prince would be open to working with him and for the sake of music it would be amazing to see one of the most talented musicians in the world work with one of the most successful producers in the world. Prince recently worked with Judith Hill and this connection was established simply cause he saw an interview where she mentioned she wanted to work with him

Any chance of this happening?

this is my only source for the quote -
Producer Max Martin mentions Prince

I know this is a 14 year old quote but certainly we can assume if this was Max Martin's dream at one point it would definitely be a part of his ambition to make it happen.

Plus Prince is now letting that Joshua Welton guy produce his music, so why not go for the best producer in the game and just collaborate with him? It would be cool to see the greatest artist in music working with the most prolific producer in music?

He also worked with that singer recently who was on The View just because he heard her say that she wanted to work with him. If Max Martin wants to work with him it'd be nice to see Prince put his ego aside and work with a big time producer. Certainly this is the easiest route back to the top of the charts and with that being the set ground to build on imagine how much further he can go with it if he's truly inspired

I want to see the Cheiron sound enter Paisley Park

Let's here some perspective from the roundtable of experts *cues Around the Horn style screen set-up*

I think Prince has to have the dynamic of control & if he doesn't, I don't think he will be motivated to follow through. I think (not to go armchair psychologist) but this seems like the issue of loyalty rather than just dictating orders & maybe it stems from his family interactions w/ his father & mother.

The problem w/ people working w/ Prince is that he has all these collaborations but they don't see the light of day due to just losing interest & moving to other projects.

From a Prince perspective, the collaboration is just another way for him to get his name out to a more younger audience. But from the collaborator's viewpoint, this is a landmark moment for them. Which is kind of funny because I bet that's the way Prince would feel about working w/ James Brown or Stevie if he was called in to produce their next album.

I remember listening to a podcast (I think he took it down maybe the heat from Prince's camp was too much) to a engineer who worked w/ Prince for 3 years, he played the bass on "Blue Light" He said Prince really was fueled on impressing the fukk out of people at who he could summon to collaborate w/. It was his way of saying "Don't doubt me, I can get anyone you admire to work w/ me" :ohhh:
