You are overestimating how good Lebron is at this point as well as underestimating how bad the Knicks are.

As someone pointed out, the Knicks have no shooting and no talent outside of KP. As we have seen, Lebron isn't nearly as good without outside shooters surrounding him. The Knicks have the absolute worst collection of guards in the NBA.

The myth that Lebron makes any team a playoff team and a contender needs to end.

You also think Brad Beal > John Wall

So there's really no point to this all

myth? Lets see lebron leave Cleveland,Cleveland go from best to worst record and they miss the playoffs 4 straight years. He go to Miami they go to 4 straight finals. He leave Miami they miss the playoffs. He gone back to Cleveland they go to the playoffs. His 2nd and 3rd best player get hurt in the playoffs he still takes them to the finals.this season kryie and love have been playing like shyt they still almost win 60 games. Put him on the knicks they are a lock for the playoffs

John Wall is one of the most overrated players in the NBA. That's been proven this past season. Beal is younger and when healthy, is still regarded as one of the best 2 guards in the league. His contract this summer will back this up. Not to mention this has nothing at all to do with the argument.

If you haven't watched Knicks basketball and still think Lebron is 2011 Lebron, there really isn't a point to this.

He's been playing with 2 all stars for the past 6 years. When it mattered last year, what role players game did he elevate? All I heard was how terrible JR and Shumpert were. Why didn't he elevate their game in the finals? If Kyrie and Love are playing so terribly, why hasn't Lebron elevated their game? Way too much hedging of bets when it comes to Lebron.

I'm supposed to think he's supposed to elevate Calderon and Vujacic for 82 games? Is he going to guard their assignments? He barely guards his own. lets be real.

Bron is on a 28 game stretch of 26, 8, 7.5 on 55%FG, 39%3P

This ideal that hes taken a big step back is just wrong

Bron took a team with his best players being Larry Hughes, a past his prime Ilgauskas and Drew Gooden to the Finals

Youre gonna have to excuse me while I laugh at the thought of him not getting an 8 seed this season with that Knicks team

There are still many people enamored by Carmelo Anthony for some reason. TBH, you guys probably dodged a bullet not getting him. Consider yourselves lucky, destroy and rebuild without Melo in the picture.

That was 10 years ago. We're talking this season, this Lebron, this eastern conference, this Knicks team. You're talking 28 games, I'm talking 82. Not to mention the 28 games came the last month and a half of the season. Knicks would've been eliminated by then.

Well the hope would be Thibs could have gotten the best out of him, but looking back, not getting Melo certainly didnt hurt, probably would have just delayed the inevitable

We'll have to agree to disagree, I think Bron at least has them ahead of the Pacers/Pistons

Indeed. But Both of those teams are just deeper with talent. Not to mention the coaching is head and shoulders above Fisher/Rambis. Lebron would've taken Orlando or maybe another young team, but I can't see it with the Knicks team.

Lebron didn't elevate JR and Shumpert in the finals :jbhmm:but he is supposed to elevate 2 traffic cones for an entire season

Wall had a much better team with the wizards and still didn't make he playoffs.

I don't think I disagree, but I think Wall still gets the Knicks there as an 8th seed. The Knicks with a point guard like Wall who can get people points takes pressure off of everyone. He's a master of getting some corner threes and the Knicks had at least 3-4 guys who were really good in that department. He would take pressure off several guys who have to create to score and find them in their sweet spot offensively, so much so, that I think the Knicks would be slightly better. This isn't a bad team, they just went from 22-22 to 30-52. I think Wall slightly tips that and gets them to the playoffs.
