Talking about street shyt in a rap song is not being real. You know who shot you right? Go shoot them. Don't make a rap about it.

Sheeeit - that's the realest thing in the world. LOL

Everything done in the dark comes to the light eventually. If you live in the light
and take everything that comes with it (even death), it gets no realer than that.

Them Lo Lifes...
I understand that bruh. But street ish stays on the street. That's not for the public. I'm not saying this was the case but it felt like Pac was hoping the hip hop police was listening when he made that song. There was no other reason to name drop like that when he didn't have to
ALL them niccas was involved with the MUSIC industry...so yeah..ERYBODY who HAD NO CLUE had to hear the shyt..

Its STREET niccas who didnt know Jimmy was a c/i until Pac exposed the nicca..

Far as the po po comment. :camby:

Pac is a fake gangsta, A fake nikka, bragged about getting shot 5 times an did nothing in reply. Even faked his beef with biggie. I would respect drake over such a faq nikka

It's still dry snitching what he did. You don't put street business in the public eye. Like I've said in the past; if this was anyone else but Tupac all of you would say the same. Somehow he gets a pass for this

If a nikka is working for the feds and still running the streets with immunity his name needs to be dropped.

How you respect street codes in regard to nikkas that's cooperating with police to ruin your life/kill you? And you can die/get killed any moment?

:camby:(not at you, but them)

All that code shyt is out the window with them, there's nothing to tell. That song was like his last will and testament and it wasn't intended to get anybody locked up, it was to tell the truth while he still had breath/freedom to speak on it.

Them nikkas had more to fear from other street nikkas knowing they snitching than they did from the police at that point. You see when he brought up Puffy it was "he did some shyt he shouldn't of did/you and I know what's going on". Why them and not him?

When people talk about how Pac wasn't really a street nikka that doesn't mean he was a coward, it meant that he was under the impression due to his upbringing and who he saw gettin it in that nikkas would actually abide by codes and laws.

That's why he was talking about giving up on Thug Lyfe after the quad shyt. He was trying to bring some structure to street shyt like the panthers/gangs initially tried to do. Idealistic yea but that's the model he saw coming up. We policed our own hoods, kept criminal activity where it was supposed to be so the babies could be safe, snitches and nikkas doing unnecessary harm had to go. Seeing these so called "real nikkas" move like that completely broke his spirit on that front.

Pac wasn't a street dude which would explain why his ass got caught.up the way he did.

"Dry snitching"

There's really no such thing as "dry snitching"

Snitching is talking to the police. Point blank, period. "Dry Snitching" is a phrase that dumbasses who never make it off the stoop use when they're pitching in on Swishers to roll up a blunt with less than a gram

Street dudes don't get caught up brehs :comeon:
Not the way he did. Pac got fukked over three times. The third time he died. If he was as street as you guys say he was, he wouldn't have been fukking around with extortionists. He was warned too about the folks he was keeping company with and still trying to be down with them.

Alright . . so Orlando Anderson didn't get shot over borrowing someone's EBT card

nahh things like that never happen to real G's :camby:

Tupac was practically the only one who went through the NY scene and refused to be extorted

Really? If someone hangs around an extortionist, can they be surprised when that person tries them out.

Pac was desperate to be respected and he went about it the wrong way.

The problem was these dudes were courting him buying him watches and stuff . . expecting to sweet talk him into signing to Bad Boy . . Tupac wasn't down with it. They were hanging out with him for VIP club access, riding his coattails and catching hand-me-down groupies
