In an absolute stunner Josh Allen has been named MVP over Lamar Jackson despite not making All-pro first team (First time since 1987)

We all know Lamar would have won this year if he ain't win twice before including last year. Honestly he deserved it this year but ain't deserve it last year :manny:

Allen did carry an average ass roster to the AFC championship while putting up big numbers. And would be playing tomorrow if his defensive head coach's defense ain't shyt the bed again in the playoffs. Buffalo is like a 6 win team with an average QB. Can't be that mad at him winning.

careful they'll call you c00n :mjlol:. I thought Mina Kimes gave her reason for voting for Lamar "historic season'' "Won the head to head". Dan O "Josh did more with less" "2 seed" both had great reasons. My problem with dudes on here acting like Josh wasn't worthy is goofy shyt

She didn’t just mention the head to head; she mentioned an all-time historic season.

You wonder why they call you a c00n

It's super easy to explain this. No one had a historical year to compare against him in that year so they did what they do aka he was the best player on the best team while being the team's only superstar.

Did Dak pull the 4th highest QB rating of all time and throw less than 5 interceptions while getting more than 40 touchdowns? I don't remember Dak having a year that was comparable to anything all time. Did he?

NBA type discourse has now bled through to football talk. It’s a major problem that has to be dealt with quick before it dumbs everyone down. By this idiotic logic, no great quarterback should have ever won any mvp award. You could invalidate 1994 Steve Young, 1999 or 2001 Kurt Warner, and Manning, Brady, or Rodgers of Favre season or any Mahomes season too.

You either make it a stats award or an opinion award :manny:

They already made it a QB award. So just give it to the QB with the best stats every year and call it good.

But last year they gave it to a QB who was #9 in total TDs and #6 in total yards. With the worst stat line of any QB to win the in the last 20 years. So it is what it is.

Deserved it in 2019. Deserved it this year. Ain't deserve it last year. End if the day he should have 2 MVPs and that's what he's got.
