Some say Kevin Sullivan killed Benoit and his family, and that the Crippler is 100% innocent.
Did anyone watch ECW the next night, after Vince found out that Chris may have done it? Give us the 411 on ECW and Smackdown after the murders,and how they handled it.
It's a damn shame that SOHH deleted their archives, and we can't go back and read the Raw, ECW and Smackdown threads from when this shyt happened.

You do know that they made this special before it was announced that he killed his family, right?
No shyt, but it was suspect as hell when they were all found dead, reports of it being murder/suicide were out the next day

They were in a really tough spot, people already tend to think Vince could care less about these cats once they're done, they'd have really caught the "OOOOOOOOH see Vince really doesn't give a fukk about the boys" chatter if they'd not done some form of tribute that next night Chris was too big a name to "wait" unfortunately.
That whole situation is still sad as hell from every angle you think about it from, that dude was beat up physically and mentally CLEARLY needed help badly, didn't get the help or even realize how bad he clearly needed help and look how everything ulitmately panned out.

I could be wrong, but didnt it kinda trickle down to them in the middle of the show that Benoit might have been the killer and they started carefully backing away from being overly emotional?
i sometimes wonder what professional wrestling would be like had this not happened. that special had me dead. honoring him before all the facts were out but what im curious about is the week before. remember when vince mcmahon stepped into that limo and it blew up. the whole crowd booed him out of the arena and then he died. then he came back to raw like nothing ever happened. it's like we're in a donnie darko type tangent universe or something.

What's even more freaky is they were going to have a mock funeral for Vince that night (hence why a lot of talent like Austin was there). And prior to the announcement of Benoit's death, the whole RAW set was reportedly decked out like a memorial/funeral service.
I was on vacation in FL that week, so I was like
when Benoit's face with "In Memory Of..." popped up on the screen. Knew nothing of it. I intially found Regal's "memory" of Chris to be odd, but hours later, it was more foreshadowing to what we were about to find out:
