Miami is really a city for the rich. Your money hoes way further in Tampa/Orlando and you can just visit Miami when you want. My homie had a $450k budget for a house and absolutely could not find shyt in Miami in a nice neighborhood and that was in 2018.

The shytty 3/2 I was living in in South Miami that was built in 1942 was worth over $500k in 2016 when I moved. There may have been some cheaper options out in Kendall or Hialeah but who the fukk wants to live there. Our definition of desirable may also differ.

Living in south Miami

It was close to my school. Mostly all my neighbors were Hispanic except for one house that had some other students living there. Looking back it was an extremely nice neighborhood that was quiet and the neighbor were all super nice, I never locked the doors to my car or the house.
