Eminem Show was his peak. His flow was truly perfected @ that point. Damn I miss old Em. Its just sad to see people like Eminem and Axl Rose get old.

Brothas age better :ehh:

Relapse was pretty dope imo.

That's my favorite album of his next to MMLP.

Eminem is a monster, when it comes to being technically proficient with his lyrics. Definitely a wordsmith and it especially shows that he's putting effort into it in his latest works. You can tell that he's really about the Hip Hop culture and being a student in the art form, which is why a lot of the older generation will give him credit for his skills, even though they might not have an Eminem album in rotation like that.

at his peak he's probably one of the best technical MCs (along with Pun, Biggie and others).

someone said it earlier but he just didnt age gracefully. as far as rhyme patterns and cadences and pockets he sounds even better than before but his flow/delivery isnt as crisp as it use to be. back then it didnt sound like he was trying to flow...the flow just came natural and that was part of the allure. plenty of great technical white mcs but they sound like they're trying to hard to rap.

a great example (and not a plug cuz his album just dropped) but look at royce. technically right now him and eminem are similar but royce's flow is still smooth

technically he's the best right now, but as far as musically he's terrible. he should try to mesh both together, then he'd might be easier to listen to these days.
