I made an Alchemist produced playlist of all his mid 00's - present day stuff and came across a song he produced on Carter 3 featuring Fab & Juelz. It was one of the most appalling displays of rapping I've heard recently. All 3 were shameful and the beat is even trash.

Which east coast rapper was making shyt like this huh?!??!? :aicmon: :usure:

You fukking losers, I admit tune took the aesthetic of dipset for a min. But then he grew on to become his own beast. With absolute no ties to NY rap. You fukking bum ass backpackers have been irrelevant since. Go bump some Joey badass and Troy Ave and suck a dikk :umad:

Lame ass New Yorkers always wanna take credit for some shyt

What NY rappers were making shytty songs about his dikk being a metaphor for a lolipop & harmonizing? :comeon:
Check the :trash: 2chainz collab album He STILL raps like a Nyc mixtape rapper that's why no one fuccs with him anymore we not tryna hear meaningless punchline rap in 2016. By the time he started that autone bullshyt he had already fallen all the way off :scust:T-wayne album might have been even wacker than that shytty rock album :scusthov:

Wayne's catalog is without doubt by far the worst of any rapper with his acclaim/hype.

I always thought he was over rated. But in Hip-Hop if you say you are the best loud enough *Cough Camel* people buy into your propaganda.

To me Wayne took the punchline style of NY rap, made it more melodic and was able to market it to the rest of the country who previously were not exposed to NY punchline style of rap.

I know its anecdotal evidence, but I know people around me in the ATL who would never listen to what they considered NY Rap who swore that Wayne second coming, but in reality, he's was just a really good punchline rap.

The way he got washed by Fab, Juelz, Jay, Cassidy etc on damn near every feature but still managed to somehow maintain the best rapper alive image :dead:

it's a testament to how trash the game was 06-011 & the souths dominance in that period that he managed to ride the ny mixtape rapper style to superstardom

12 albums and only about 2/3 of them shyts are even listenable now

Mixtape catalog has aged really badly too

Relative to his peak acclaim/hype he's easily the most overrated rapper of all time
i been saying this since for forever.
