theyre not unknowns.

WWE casuals generally dont watch NXT like that. most NXT viewers know of them, and the WWE knows that, which is why they subliminally hyped them up as a big surprise.

then when they get out there, they start talking that "unknown" chit.
then they turn around and put that "we're finally here" type video out, where more effort was put into subliminally downplaying the indies(and "indies") rather than time spent on actually putting the rascalz over. ember moon put them over, but also hit all the WWE talking points like "they dont have to take indie scraps anymore" or whatever.

its like yesterday when i checked out the new day episode on brodie lee/luke harper.

xavier woods still had to stay on code, talembout "he also went by brodie lee in the indies". as if he wasnt just TNT champion on TNT as brodie lee just a few months ago. im supposed to believe that AEW is anywhere near indy??
