In the near future YOU will NOT WORK. And you will like it....

Everyday I sit at this computer from home I think A.I could do this job.

If it ever hits the insurance industry most of us will be out if work

I literally think the same thing as well breh. Any analyst or job that you use a computer. AI can probably do it maybe not the best now but as it gets refined it will be scary.

Like I remember spending hours just working on a python script making sure its right spitting out what i need etc. googling for areas that I didn't get, hitting up forums posting questions etc.

Now in like a few minutes I can get that same ish done, even someone who doesn't know what they are doing can do it as well

If that's true, how will we survive?

In any event, people will always want to do something despite AI being responsible for work.

Best thing to do to combat this is to start challenging the AI with moral questions in an attempt condition its algorithm against the all out decimation of human labor.........what does do no harm mean, and how will you combat corporate interests attempts to make human labor obsolete.

Wait until robotics catches up. Blue collar workers wont be safe either.
Yeah, not too many people can compete with a robot that can turn to liquid, slip between cracks to patch a hole, reform to a solid, transform to fly to the top of a building to weld something then fly back to base to track all it's data, refuel, write the bill and take more requests.

24 hours no breaks and swarms of them all coordinating and working together.

Joe Biden during his speech a few days ago, which I'm sure he was briefed by experts, said they expect more technological progress in the next 10 years due to A.I than the last 50 years. That's fukking insane if true and I don't see that being unfeasible. It'll take a lot of guesswork out because of the simulations, states and variables it can test dynamically.

I personally think the obsolescence of human labor is a very good thing if its accompanied with UBI. If our economy is fully automated it will bring an unprecedented level of economic productivity. It shouldn't be a problem to provide every citizen with a extremely comfortable living standard. What we need are politicians who're forward thinking and will support the policies that'll ensure we have such a future.

Musk is a liar, a fraud, an idiot, and a Nazi.

The "AI" bubble will pop like the dotcom bubble. Obviously websites continued to exist after that bubble popped, but gone was the sense of "Just get something dotcom and you'll be rich!"

"Just get in on the AI game! Don't listen to FUD!"

You will see. :umad:

What's crazy is other tech too like the Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro, etc.

Now you can bring a multi-monitor with you anywhere without having to physically lug around multiple monitors.

Tech is so dang crazy today. Think of how many gadgets you'd have to carry around even 15 years ago back in 2008 if you wanted to do everything you can now on your phone and what's additionally been offloaded to the cloud and cloud computing. Software has replaced so many jobs and caused profession changes.
