in the real world, 2pac = #1, biggie =#2, and jay z =#3

This is not culturally what you believe is it.
Plus real talk,...
For gateway pop fans of rap.
I think it is safe to say bone is the number one go to anything for pop fans of rap.
All because all the music is a bone bite.
I don't hear any music that sounds like pac, big or jay in general bulk.
It all sounds like triple six ripoff of DJ uneek bone music on autotune.

Art Barr
This is very correct currently. But pac is still considered to GOAT by the masses

Lmao pac had mf's shooting cops while bumping his first album. Pac had nikkas rocking nose rings, pac had nikkas rocking baldies with the scarfs aunt jemama style.pac made it popular for black (non gang members) to get tattoos. Pac had already done classic movies.
Pac helped create big's waive and schooled him "do not rap for the nikkas, rap for the bytches, nikkas will want what the bytches want" also used to put him on stage before he did keep ya head up and i get around. Let biggie war his jewelry, gave him shyt and never asked for it back. Used to beg bad bytches to fukk big. nikka pac is biggie's father.
lmao at big having a street buzz, yea a fulton st buzz

Pac helped himself by attaching himself to the hottest rapper in the game in 94/95 point blank. Biggie's run was coming whether you wanna admit that or not. His talent & Puff's formula for him were gonna make that happen regardless. All that extra stuff you're talking about with nose rings, baldies, & bandanas is irrelevant to the music. Big's talent & music elevated him to the position he sits at today. Not the beef or other antics. RTD was an instant hit fam

This is kinda true..... Pac and bigs music is great ... But pac gets more reconized due to his beefs and personal dramas more then his music itself :yeshrug:

From an unbias view .... Biggie is more lyrical and better flow , pac is better at sending a message and has much more emotion ,passion ,charisma... In his music ... They both great mcs in different ways ... They 2 totally different rappers that nikkas cant compare ... But what i will say that is more sad then anything is pacs musical and acting talent is overlooked ... Due to all the beefing and drama he got into in his life....his war stories get talked about more then his music ...... Without all the drama surrounding pac he wouldnt be as popular as he is .... But it is what it is ....:yeshrug: Anyway ... Top 3 goats pac , nas , big ... These are in most nikkas lists not in any particular order ....

The "extra stuff" was me pointing out the power pac had before him and big had public beef. Pac had been a star

I never disputed he had influence. My point was to analyze just the music
2pac's music is better and more diverse. I ONLY brought up influence to show his popularity before his problems with big. pac been that nikka, that was the point. BUt musically you can get what big has to offer,a few places. There's no one like pac though

Fam his popularity was never in dispute. But he wasn't selling records like that though until... To me Pac's music isn't better than Big's. While some of Pac's songs resonated with me overall he was a straight up & down rapper that rapped the same flow & style. He touched on different topics but overall he was a what you see is what you get emcee. Tupac was a great rapper (going by the definition Clark Kent used in the video I posted) but he wasn't a great emcee. Big & Jay are to the best rappers/emcees that we've ever seen.

You can fee lhow you want to feel. Pac has a way better catalog, way more diverse ,sold way more records. If you think pac only had one flow, you havent listened to pac. pac more flws than big and in a variation of ways. From smooth shyt to explosive raw shyt etc. Oh yea fukk clark kent his thoughts dont move me. pac wasnt selling records like what till when?

look lemme get it straight again for nikkas missin' my point

when i made this thread, i was speakin' from a worldwide perspective

the 3 most popular rappers who seem to receive love all across the board from all walks of life is pac 1st, biggie 2nd and then jay z

but that don't mean SKILL WISE that pac is better than biggie or jay z for that matter

biggie was better than both pac and jay z in terms of skills and mcin'. however pac had a way of connectin' with people in a very simple and direct way but that still don't mean he was a better mc skill wise than biggie, because he won't.

with all that said, biggie is the goat to me. any era, bar none, hands down. biggie as he said was "the illest"

and you're wrong. Pac is the best and the only guaranteed name on a top 3 list . JAy has made biggie almost obsolete to the general public despite trying to big him up.
