LOL Supreme and Bape was put on by Pharrell (VA) Lupe and Kanye (Chicago)

Swag was popularized by dudes like Jeezy, TI an Wayne

Soho is one giant mall now. There isn't any boutique in Soho that you can't find in a middle America mall.

Supreme has been a part of ny street fashion since the 90's my dude. Botiques such as supreme and bape are in soho and japan , They aint a supreme store or bape store in atlanta. What swag come from Atlanta really? Yall good for club bangers thats it. We all know where the sneaker/streetwear culture is based out of NYC .

The word swag ,, swagger . has been used in harlem since i can remember my g.

Supreme was being worn by skaters not rappers in the 90s

The first rapper to put on for it, besides the box logo tees, was Tyler. Pharrell obviously put Bape on the map with Lupe and Kanye. This video did more for Bape than Juelz ever did

And nikka you must have bad memory

The truth is the truth...when New York had it, rap was in it's golden age. When California had it, them West Coast nikkas came with it. When The South got the ball, hip hop went through the dark ages :camby:

My dude i'm from new york, Supreme skaters were hip hop heads. They were mostly black and puerto rican kids from the lower eastside. Gio estevez was the one who put together the first supreme team.
The whole streetwear.hypebeast culture is based out of new york any body that disagrees doesn't know what they are talking about

And why are you posting videos of lil wayne this is a thread about the projects atlanta has produced. Lil wayne is infamous ny harlem dikk rider.

Ironic that you post this video when Wayne was criticized for tryna to be like The Clipse back then, a group that has roots in New York.

I know all about Harold, Aron, Dante Ross, Shawn Stussy with Union etc

I lived quite a few years downtown NY. I know the history.

BUT notice you said Supreme *skaters. Skaters had no impact on what nikkas outside of the LES wore. Be real with yourself. The streetwear shops are in NY but the Japanese were the main consumers of it. Second, Pharrell Lupe and Kanye made it popular.

Wayne a dikkrider, really? Last I checked, It's 2013, and Juelz still crying about doing the "I can't feel my face" album

AND NY nikkaz really in here trying to say Clipse are from NY when they from VA (The South) and got put on with all the Bape by Pharrell (VA)

Outkast, killer mike, goodie mobb, ti, and sometimes ludacris are the only credible rappers/groups in ATL. Kast and good mobb haven't been putting out too much music anyway.

French Montana is better than most current atl rappers.

Seriously, I see a lot of talk on how ATL is the dominant city, i would disagree. They have made a huge impact but the resume of this city is just pathetic. They have produced more trash one hit wonder rappers than any other city.

When you look at this list most of these artist only debuted within the last 7 years. Some had certified hits and others a buzz. Out of all the artist that have been pumped into the national/mainstream hip hop scene not any worthy records. can we say their has been an abundance of classics , like say L.A or NYC had
?.

The only classic since ATL has took the center stage has been Thug Motivation 101 by Young Jeezy

This has to make ATL the worst of the big 3 and the city with the most one hit , one day here next day gone artist.

Are Future , Migo , Rich Homie quan and trinidad james going to be around two years from now?
is 2chainz going to be here 4 years from now?
TM102, Urban Legend, Trap Muzik, The Recession, King. all classics.
