U really threw Dro up in there like that when in his prime he could outrap just about anybody in the game:comeon:....and they might not have certified classics but if it wasn't for ATL the game would've been in an absolute miserable state:snoop:....what was NY doin:mjpls:?what was Cali doin?ungrateful fuks:heh:

Lotta dope albums and tapes done came outta ATL,and those one hit wonders played an important role in they dominance...sumbody gotta give the allstars a rest and play a few minutes:manny:

Imagine hiphop without the atl in the past 10 yrs and I think you'll wanna apoligize for this thread:ufdup:

The Truth
Why yall always on our nuts?

TM101
Trap Muzik
King
Pluto
Trap House
Flockaveli

Not to mention all the mixtapes that kept the streets fed

and even when we were not on the top in the 90s, we could easily go classic for classic w/ any region
Fareal

Notice how OP left these nikkas out. Didnt even mention Outkast like they wasn't around then. B.O.B.'s mixtapes were classic, Gucci's mixtapes, Futures, Luda was making noise, etc

Seriously, I see a lot of talk on how ATL is the dominant city, i would disagree. They have made a huge impact but the resume of this city is just pathetic. They have produced more trash one hit wonder rappers than any other city.

When you look at this list most of these artist only debuted within the last 7 years. Some had certified hits and others a buzz. Out of all the artist that have been pumped into the national/mainstream hip hop scene not any worthy records. can we say their has been an abundance of classics , like say L.A or NYC had
?.

The only classic since ATL has took the center stage has been Thug Motivation 101 by Young Jeezy

This has to make ATL the worst of the big 3 and the city with the most one hit , one day here next day gone artist.

Are Future , Migo , Rich Homie quan and trinidad james going to be around two years from now?
is 2chainz going to be here 4 years from now?
TM 101 wasn't even a good album to me.

that struggle list:bryan:

you can take b.o.b and dro off that list imo. dro dont got the success but he nice. you got a valid point in this post though. atl is pretty much just one/two hit wonders now but they got a great formula and the ignorance being championed at times also works well with the agenda:manny:. in the trap era the classic album count looking shaky though. some have been named already. there are arguably a few more but i understand your point op. pimp c even said this b4 he died about how alot of south rappers dropping the ball by just spittin ignorance and nothin else now that the south got the spotlight. he called jeezy out on spitting fake dope prices and everything that interview.

LOL Supreme and Bape was put on by Pharrell (VA) Lupe and Kanye (Chicago)

Swag was popularized by dudes like Jeezy, TI an Wayne. Later on Lil B (The Bay) and Odd Future (LA). Not corny azz Jay Z and Wayne dikk ridderz Dipset.

Soho is one giant mall now. There isn't any boutique in Soho that you can't find in a middle America mall.
you clearly dont know what you talking bout my dude. yall sex n the city nikkas man:camby:

The truth is the truth...when New York had it, rap was in it's golden age. When California had it, them West Coast nikkas came with it. When The South got the ball, hip hop went through the dark ages :camby:

Even if this were true, can y'all explain how they are continuing to eat for a decade and some change?!?! :mjpls:

Why are they still on your cities' radio stations while people in your area can't get no spin? :dwillhuh:.

ATL's formula to fuse repetitive content over 808 beats and sped high hats is:wow:

yeah, i mentioned this in another thread. it wasn't the south that ruined hiphop, it was atlanta's sorry excuse for involvement. they basically hit the scene in 94 with outkast, and ever since then, they've put out more bullshiit than good music. how the fukk can you only have like 3 good groups(including goodie mob and young bloodz), and only have 3 good solo rappers like young dro, luda, and t.i, out of all the acts? young jeezy released a few good albums too, but besides that, you could wipe their ass off the map. houston and memphis have always had far better rappers. same goes for any of the midwest acts. i'm sure they'll hit you with the talk about how they're all over the radio, like we should really care. once they put some money into my pocket, i'll be sure to take their radioplay, into account.:rudy:

He said the last 10 and yes Jeezy and TI have multiple classics
It's Tuesday, meaning new music release day. What albums that came out today are classics?
Cause I swear on these boards, if you just release an album, you have a good chance of it being considered a classic here.

You guys are just shoving the hate down you posts . How does TIP or Jeezy not even have a classic so your saying Trap Muzik and TM101 are not classics :stopitslime: , I think even Ludacris has a classic album tbh
