Jamaicans will eat fish with okra, it can be served with this cornmeal as well. It’s delicious.Fish and grits… minus the okra
Okra is a staple down South… but not usually with fish and grits.

So this is harina mashed with quimbobo (okra)? Do we even eat those things combined like that? Ive had both just separate... either this is something Cubans dont do or yall mfers exposing my mom and grandma dukes as not being versatile cooks
Edit: ok just called up mom dukesshe said yea we do eat it like that but its also used in Santeria rituals as food for ancestors because thats what the ancestors ate... Ive personally never tried it but fukk it now Im interested
