Never really did.

I guess I stopped worrying if they'd make hotter music post-Iron Flag (which I liked and thought it was a good album even to the W) when Nas came back with Stillmatic.
But I always still checked for them regardless. Ghost still held it down and I guess I wasnt dissappointed in 8 Diagrams cause I didnt expect it to blow the earth away.

I've never really given up on the Wu because whenever those cats have reunited to put out another album with the exception of 8 Diagrams, they've never really failed IMO. Iron Flag was somewhat of a let down but it wasn't THAT bad. Was it 36 Chambers or even Wu-Tang Forever? No. But it was still an ok album. 8 Diagrams was the only album by them that I didn't really care for. It was a good album for RZA because it showed he could do something outside of soul samples and his usual but for the clan it was a bad look. I don't think I've listened to 8 Diagrams since the year it came out either. Oh yeah and The W is a very overlooked album. It's a personal classic for me.

But Wu-Tang is forever!

Never gave up, I still believe that if (that's a BIG if) they focus, get their scheducles straight and whatnot, then we migh still one great Wu album...Rae, Meth and Ghost have consistently been dropping fire, U-God and Cap' too on the low, Gza and Deck can step up whenever it's needed, Rza needs to focus on the production and put Hollywood to the side, Masta Killah's still reliable, a couple features from Killa Sin, Killah Priest, Trife da God, and them and we'd have a dope LP...

No matter what, it's still Wu Tang Forever :to:

I don't get 8 Diagrams hate. That was a return to form.

What I didn't like was Rae and Ghost sabotaging the album, because of their dislike of production. And, RZA leaving Ghost off of Life Changes. :smh:

But, who remebers when Meth came out with the god awful third lp.

This is the only song I ever heard off it. :scusthov:

Meth redeemed himself with 4.2.1, The Day After.

And, where's Crystal Meth :noah:

Yeah I never heard anything off Meth's 3rd album. I like Meth but for some reason I've never liked his solo stuff. Tical was okay but def the weakest out of the first batch of Wu solo albums. Tical 2 had a couple of good songs but it had way too many tracks and unnecessary skits. I didn't like 4:21 either. But I love him on features and with Red
