Kinda like the industry moves Nas is making by working with Timbo, doing and app like jigga, as well ass doing a duet album like Jigga?:ohhh:

Don't get me wrong, they're gonna fail. But thats his MO. He tries to be like jigga, but fails. Has tried to have commercial albums like Jay. Fail. Tried to have a successful duet album like Jay. Fail. Tries to be a successful spokesman like Jay. Fail.
Still a few songs on album compared to jay making a whole album to cater to the mainstream. :ahh:

Jay made whole albums catering to popularity and made music industry moves to get his popularity.

Nas barely did that shyt and is still on most rap fans top 5 :ahh:

So Untitled, LIG, and DR aren't mainstream commercial albums? :ohhh:

It's underground hip hop? Nas didn't have heavy super production on either albums? Nas didn't have current "mainstream" singers on each albums?:ohhh:

But Jay fans are the ones in denial:heh:

So nas changed his formula on those albums? So those albums was mostly nas talking about money, hos and cars?

Jay has always talked about money...ever since his FIRST album. So it's crazy to say that he does it to become relevant when he's been doing it since his debut album.

But Nas changed his formula by working with Super producers and duing a collabo album like Jay. Again....failed attempts doe:ohhh:

Him always being into those topics explain why he wasmt popping until biggie and others went out of the rap scene and he did his music industry moves. :ahh:

Working with super producers and doing collabos isn't changing your formula when your doing the same type of songs with those producers. :ahh:

It's changing your formula when it's not the usual. It's beside the fact that Nas put his boring Nyquil storytelling along side of it, and it flops unlike Jay:ohhh:

U think Nas was interested in doing a collabo album before the success of WTT?:heh:

Positioning ...basically aligning yourself with the creme de la creme will grow your fanbase.

By association he can tap into Kanye fans, Rihanna fans, Beyonce fans at will ...nothing but power moves

For the most part he makes the right moves, stays current, and stays in the lane where he knows he's got a core group of followers.

He's very smart guy when it comes to his image, what he portrays, and how he comes across to pop culture as a whole.

"I'm not a businessman, I'm a business, man" pretty much explains Jay.

It is the usual. Nas didn't do anything that he wouldn't normally do.

Distant relatives? I'd like to see jay pull that off. :ahh:

Unless WTT was his effort to make a better album then he failed. :ahh:
